Job summary

Spring Run Golf Club in New York’s Town of Florida area is seeking an Equipment Operator to support daily maintenance of the golf course and grounds to the standards of a private upscale club. You will perform mowing, bunker, and landscaping tasks while learning safe operation of equipment and serving members and residents.

Under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent, you will grow toward more advanced duties, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and contribute to a courteous,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to learn basic golf course maintenance tasks.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns, approaches, fairways, tees, and slopes as directed.
• Rake bunkers and maintain bunker edges and surrounding areas.
• Plant and maintain trees, shrubbery, flowers, and hedges as directed.
• Operate safe and proper maintenance equipment.
