Job summary

Spanish Fork City is seeking a Golf Course Maintenance Worker to support Parks and Recreation. The role covers daily turf upkeep, irrigation maintenance, and seasonal light-setup for the Festival of Lights. A valid Utah driver license is required and the position is part-time with some weekend work.

You'll join a team focused on high-quality course care, safety, and community service, with a flexible schedule around 6am starts and a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in turf management and irrigation maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of applying fertilizer, herbicide, pesticides and fungicides is a plus.
• Ability to operate and repair maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance of the golf course: mow greens, tees, fairways and roughs.
• Maintain sand traps, edges, weed control, and irrigation system components.
• Set up and maintain Festival of Lights lighting structures and fixtures.
• Operate hand and power tools, lift heavy loads, and perform minor repairs.
• Handle weekend/holiday coverage and interact professionally with the public.
