Job summary

Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking a Golf Groundskeeper for part-time seasonal work. You will maintain golf course grounds, gardens and buildings, operating mowers, blowers, and other maintenance equipment, and perform general cleanup tasks.

The position is six months, part-time with 20 scheduled hours per week, offering $15–$18 per hour. Applicants must be at least 16 and have gardening or maintenance experience; pesticide license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Experience in gardening or general maintenance work.
• Ability to operate small hand tools and small gasoline operated equipment in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform manual labor both indoors and outdoors for an extended period of time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain golf course grounds, gardens, equipment and buildings.
• Mow, aerate and weed turf; clean restrooms; pick up trash; rake leaves.
• Operate mowers, sweepers, blowers and other grounds maintenance equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned. This is unskilled maintenance work.
