Job summary

Cache County Parks & Recreation seeks a motivated individual for park and sports field maintenance in Logan, UT. The role involves operating a range of landscaping machinery and supervising temporary staff under the Golf Superintendent’s direction.

The position is temporary/seasonal, with hours between 6am and 7am and potential weekend work, offering 10–40 hours per week. High school diploma and physical fitness are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in all weather and seasons.
• Knowledge of landscaping maintenance and construction methods.
• Possession of a Utah Driver/Operator's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operates mowers, backhoes, compactors, utility vehicles, trucks, tractors, saws and jack hammers.
• Oversees and coordinates the work of temporary/seasonal staff, reporting to the Golf Superintendent.
• Work 10–40 hours per week; shifts start between 6am and 7am; weekend work required.
