Job summary

JDM Golf LLC is seeking a Player Ambassador/Starter to warmly greet guests, start and monitor play, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience on the course. You will observe course conditions, handle guest concerns, and escalate issues to management as needed.

The role requires welcoming communication, knowledge of golf etiquette, and the ability to operate a golf cart while coordinating with the Golf Shop for tee time changes. Schedule flexibility, including weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• High school / GED.
• Minimum one (1) year of participation in the game of golf on a recreational basis.
• Previous experience in a customer-service-related position.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests in a warm, friendly manner and provide excellent guest service.
• Monitor pace of play, course etiquette, and guest experience; communicate issues to management.
• Assist with course care tasks such as repairing divots or raking bunkers as needed.
• Operate golf cart and use radio to communicate with Golf Shop staff for tee-time updates.
• Enforce safety rules and request trespassers or non-golfers to leave the course when necessary.
• Attend trainings and meetings as scheduled and support other departments when needed.
