Job summary

The Golf Club of Estrella is seeking an Equipment Operator to maintain the course and support daily operations. The role focuses on safe operation of equipment, timely maintenance tasks, and collaborating with the maintenance team to uphold high standards of course conditioning.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and dependable attendance. English reading and speaking ability is preferred, and prior golf course or turf equipment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operates all equipment used in daily course maintenance.
• Mows greens, tees, aprons and approaches with gang mowers.
• Operates sod cutter, spray rigs and may assist in fertilization.
• Mows fairways and rough areas and operates other equipment as directed.
• Maintains gasoline or diesel, oil and other equipment fluid levels daily.
• Reports equipment problems to the mechanic immediately.
• Installs irrigation and drainage systems as directed.
• Uses transit, level or other device to construct proper grades and layout.
• Returns equipment to designated location, cleaned and serviced.
• Oversees other maintenance associates and ensures safety and proper operation.
• Operates equipment safely and maintains awareness of others in the area.
• Implements safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.
