Job summary

Windstar Club, Incorporated in Naples, Florida, seeks an Equipment Operator / Maintenance to support daily golf course setup and operations.

You will run Toro mowers, maintain all course equipment, perform routine cleaning, fuel, report issues, and assist with divot repairs, weed control, and maintenance tasks in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and proficiency in use of all golf course maintenance equipment.
• Must be able to operate golf course maintenance equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to work in the heat for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to interact professionally and maintain relations with superiors, coworkers and members.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily golf course setup; walk mowing greens, rake bunkers, changing cups, tee service divot repairs.
• Operates Toro Mowers; greens, tees, fairway, roughs, and collars (different heights).
• Operates all types of equipment; hand-held power tools, utility carts, mowers, tractors, etc.
• Edger/Weed-eater/Power Trimmers/Chainsaws.
• Spray weeds, Pull weeds.
• Attention to detail.
• Ensures that the equipment working properly; refills fuel, cleans equipment daily, and reports equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager immediately.
• Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor.
