Job summary

Ibis Landing in Lehigh Acres, FL, part of Troon, seeks a full-time Equipment Manager to oversee shop condition and maintenance of all golf course equipment. You will coordinate repairs with the Golf Course Superintendent and manage parts, inventory, and budget considerations.

The ideal candidate has a college/technical certificate or 3 years’ related experience, a valid driver’s license, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of golf course equipment.
• College/technical certificate or 3 years related experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a preventative maintenance program on all equipment, tracks parts and budget.
• Inspects, adjusts, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects in golf course maintenance equipment.
• Performs mower grinding/sharpening, overhaul of motors/reels, and braking systems.
• Performs machining or welding work for repair fittings and equipment components.
• Manages expenses related to parts, inventory, service, fuel, and related items.

Certificate from college or technical school or 3 years of related experience
