The City of Fort Lupton, Colorado is seeking a part-time Golf Cart Attendant to assist in the pro shop and provide friendly service to guests. Under supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent, you will keep carts clean, document maintenance needs, and help with ball cleaning, loading machines, and basket collection.

You should have good customer service skills, be at least 16 years old, and previous golf experience is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to document when carts need maintenance.

• Provide friendly and professional atmosphere at all times for guests.


• Assist the Golf Course Pro Shop staff as needed.


• Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum age 16.


• Good customer service skills required.


• Previous golf experience preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

• No supervisory responsibility.

Contacts with the public or employees within the organization in the interest of cooperative work accomplishment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may work in elevated areas. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
