The Heritage Club in Mason, Ohio seeks an Assistant-In-Training (AIT) motivated to become a golf course superintendent. The role exposes you to turf grass maintenance, with gradual responsibility toward an Assistant Superintendent position.

Under supervision, you will perform routine maintenance tasks, assist in daily course prep, mowing, equipment operation, water management, chemical applications and construction projects to build a broad skill set.

Qualifications

• Obtained or actively pursuing a degree or certificate in turf grass management.
• Motivation to acquire one.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance.
• Participate in a diverse range of activities including daily course preparation, mowing, equipment operation, water management, chemical applications, and construction projects.
