Job summary

McConnell Golf is seeking Servers and Beverage Cart staff to provide food and beverage service to club members and guests at Raleigh-area properties. You will handle setup, take orders, serve drinks and meals, bill accurately and keep service areas clean and welcoming.

Candidates should have a Grade 12 education and at least two years of comparable wait service experience, with strong guest relations skills and the ability to read and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and execute basic math skills.
• Greet and acknowledge members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Sets up side station and performs assigned side (prep) work.
• Provides immediate attention to all members and guests.
• Efficiently serves food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, offers suggestions on daily specials.
• Places orders with kitchen; informs cooks about any special cooking instructions.
• Use a beverage cart to service members and guests on the golf course.
• Keeps dining room and bus station areas clean.
• Clears, cleans and resets tables after each course.
• Adheres to club policies for serving alcohol.
