Job summary

Thompson Golf Management is seeking a Beverage Cart Server to provide friendly hospitality to golfers. You will prepare, sell, and serve beverages and snacks from the on-course cart, delivering a welcoming experience throughout the round. Shifts cover peak golf hours, outdoors on the course.

The role requires cash handling, upselling, and adherence to liquor laws. We offer competitive wages plus tips and benefits; must be able to lift 30 lbs and work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, hospitality, or serving experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service in the state.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all golfers with a positive, welcoming attitude.
• Operate the beverage cart safely and professionally across the course.
• Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, in compliance with state liquor laws and club policies.
• Maintain product stock levels, restocking beverages, snacks, ice, and supplies as needed.
• Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, following club procedures.
• Promote and upsell products to maximize revenue.
• Monitor pace of play and course conditions, communicating any issues to the golf shop or management.
• Maintain cleanliness of the cart, coolers, and storage areas throughout the shift.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Provide support for tournaments and special events as needed.
