Chelsea Piers is seeking a Bar Manager for the Water Hazard Bar + Lounge at The Golf Club in New York, NY. You will oversee inventory, budgeting, and the beverage program while collaborating with the Water Hazard Events Team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years of managerial experience in restaurant/bar operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and ordering for F&B; meet budget targets (Payroll, COGS, revenues).
• Oversee a creative bar program aligned with The Golf Club Water Hazard Bar + Lounge.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff scheduling for FOH/BOH (8–9 staff).
• Negotiate with distributors for best value and supervise maintenance of equipment.
• Conduct trainings, tastings, and beverage knowledge updates for staff; ensure compliance with policies.
