Chelsea Piers Lp in New York, NY is seeking a Bar Manager to lead the Water Hazard Bar + Lounge at The Golf Club at Chelsea Piers. You will shape a distinctive bar program and deliver an outstanding experience for members and guests.

Report to the Golf Club's General Manager and collaborate with the Water Hazard Events Team to ensure inventory control, cost targets, and staff excellence across ~8–9 team members.

Competenze

• Five years of managerial experience in a restaurant/bar operation.
• Professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability with minimal supervision; motivates team.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs.

Mansioni

• Maintain and oversee consistent inventory and ordering of Food & Beverage.
• Meet budget targets (Payroll, COGS, revenues) as approved by GM.
• Oversee and execute a creative bar program aligned with The Golf Club Water Hazard Bar + Lounge.
• Negotiate with distributors for best price and value.
• Participate in management meetings; provide reports on bar program and costs.
• Assist in recruitment, interviews, and onboarding of staff.
• Schedule, supervise, and support FOH and BOH staff (8–9 people).
• Enforce SOPs, training documents, and bar cleaning schedules; enforce policies.
