The Water Hazard is located in the Golf Club lobby of Pier 59. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Water Hazard by overseeing team members and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role reports to the General Manager of the Golf Club and works closely with the Water Hazard team.As the Shift Supervisor, you will be expected to:Provide excellent customer service to all patrons of the Water Hazard Bar + LoungeMonitor and uphold qualify of service and products, ensuring they meet the style, culture, and cuisine of the Golf Club Water Hazard Bar + LoungeAdhere to food and safety guidelinesAddress and resolve any issues related to customer service or product qualityFamiliarize yourself and adopt training protocols and all food and beverage descriptions for staffOversee inventory, stock control, and reportingEnsure all equipment is well-maintained, serviced, and troubleshoot as neededMaintain clean working areasEnforce zero tolerance policy regarding alcohol consumption on premises, documenting and reporting any policy violations to the General ManagerSchedule, supervise, and support staffProvide additional support to team as needed during busy timesThis is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities, which can change at any time at the discretion of your supervisor.This is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities, which can change at any time at the discretion of your supervisor.About You:You are professional, flexible, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You have bartending experience and you are comfortable both overseeing a team and getting involved in the day-to-day tasks of business operations.
