Job summary

Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms seeks a Starter to greet players and non-playing guests with enthusiasm and to assist the Golf Professional in maintaining orderly tee times, enforcing dress code, and upholding golf course etiquette. You will learn the course and its policies to answer guest inquiries and help create an enjoyable experience through outstanding service.

The role requires strong communication, hospitality experience, and a commitment to teamwork, with flexible scheduling

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• At least one-year customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of golf preferred.

Qualifications

Experience & Education

• High school education required
• Prior hospitality experience preferred
• At least one-year customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of the game of golf preferred

Working Conditions

• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, cold, sun & heat);
• Must be able to stand & walk throughout the day, including on uneven surfaces;
• Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull & carry up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs;
• Must be able to bend, squat, & twist on an occasional basis;
• Must be able to perform simple grasping, squeezing, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently; and fine manipulation occasionally.
