Job summary

Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician specialized in gas and electric golf carts. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety standards are met.

You’ll read and follow service manuals, replace worn parts, and maintain thorough service records while coordinating timelines with management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Certification from a technical school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and battery-related issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative servicing.
• Troubleshoot gas and electric golf cart systems, including motors, brakes and steering.
• Replace or repair parts such as batteries, belts, cables, tires, and controllers.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Communicate repair needs and timelines with management.

Job Description

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and battery-related issues.

EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Certification from technical school preferred

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Prior experience repairing and maintaining gas and electric golf carts preferred.
• Experience performing routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative services.
• Experience servicing braking systems, steering assemblies, suspension, and drivetrain components.
• Ability to read and follow service manuals and work instructions.
