Job summary

City of Jacksonville Beach is seeking a team-oriented employee to maintain and operate golf carts and support driving range operations. You will interact with the public, help guests with golf bags, and ensure carts are clean, charged, and ready for use.

Candidates must be at least 16, possess a Florida driver's license, and be willing to work weekends and holidays. This role requires physical stamina and reliability to support daily course operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and have knowledge of golf and dealing with the public.
• A Florida driver’s license is required.
• Willing and able to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washes, cleans, and maintains golf carts.
• Charges and prepares carts for use.
• Stages carts for usage and returns them to the cart barn at closing.
• Uses programs/resources to monitor golfers/equipment and resolves issues.
• Assists with operation of the driving range.
• Assists customers with golf bags and loads bags on/off carts.
• Answers golfers' questions about rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Enforces club rules regarding play, equipment, dress, etc.
• Picks up and cleans range balls.
• Assists with maintenance of the clubhouse and parking lot.
• Picks up paper and debris on public property.
• Assists with equipment maintenance and repair.
• Performs custodial and grounds maintenance work.
• Sweeps and cleans area as needed.
• Picks up and changes water coolers.
• Performs related tasks as required.
