Job summary

Southworth is seeking a Golf Cart Attendant to deliver exceptional service to members and guests at our premier Cape Cod club. You will ensure carts are ready, clean, charged, and loaded with scorecards and gear, while helping players with bags and pace of play.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. You will join a family-oriented team committed to hospitality and a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hospitality or golf-related setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry golf bags and equipment.
• Able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival.
• Organize and manage the distribution and collection of golf carts.
• Assist players with loading and unloading golf bags onto carts.
• Maintain an organized cart staging area; ensure carts are clean, charged, and equipped.
• Monitor pace of play and assist players to keep a reasonable pace.
• Perform routine inspections of golf carts and report maintenance needs.
• Clean and detail golf carts to maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness of golf bag storage and related areas.
• Provide courteous service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Assist with tournament preparations including signage and tee markers.
• Adhere to safety guidelines while performing duties.
