Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Golf Cart Attendant Supervisor for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa, ranked among the best resorts in Texas: Top 5 Resorts in the Southwest (Condé Nast Traveler) and Top 5 Resorts in Texas (Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2023).

Responsibilities

1. Have a working knowledge of the game of golf.
2. Lead and delegate tasks to team members while maintaining a positive work environment.
3. Ensure golf carts, driving range, and bag drop areas are clean and meet Omni standards.
4. Oversee daily maintenance of carts according to preventative maintenance programs.
5. Coordinate with Golf Maintenance, ClubCar, and local mechanics for fleet management.
6. Propose ideas to improve driving range standards, cart presentation, and overall facility appearance.
7. Foster good communication with resort operations for efficient sharing or transfer of golf bags and supplies.
8. Ensure security of equipment and guest belongings.
9. Maintain proper inventory levels of golf carts, tees, balls, towels, tags, scorecards, and water supplies based on business needs.
10. Manage staffing levels and serve as the main communication link between indoor and outdoor golf staff.

Qualifications

1. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
2. Ability to lift moderate to heavy weights.
3. Ability to operate a golf cart safely and properly.
