Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Golf Cart Attendant | Full Time for the beautiful new Barton Creek Country Club!

Responsibilities

1. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
2. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
3. Greet every guest and member enthusiastically.
4. Retain and use member names consistently.
5. Explain the golf cart GPS functionality, course conditions, cart path rules, and any other pertinent information to guests and members.
6. Care for guest and member golf clubs including cleaning, storing and transport.
7. Provide consistent and timely service of golf bag movement from valet to golf cart staging/pro-shop areas.
8. Responsible for providing continuous detailing and maintenance to golf carts, including cleaning, stocking, and driving.
9. Move golf carts to cart barn at day end.
10. Maintain storage areas and ensure they are neat, clean and free of debris.
11. Assist in the coordination of outside services for golf tournaments.
12. Ensure consistent presentation according to Omni Hotel standards.
13. Perform in a manner that demonstrates exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

1. Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
2. Education in golf or related field is preferred.
3. Excellent customer service skills.
4. English language proficiency required.
5. Flexibility for scheduling – must be willing to work some weekends and holidays.
6. Physical Requirements:
7. Must be able to withstand possible 8-10 hour work day.
8. Must be able to withstand exposure to weather conditions.
9. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
10. Must be able to safely and properly operate a golf cart.
