Wintergreen Resort is seeking Golf Guest Service Attendants to warmly greet guests from arrival to departure and provide exceptional service at our golf facilities. Responsibilities include assisting with golf equipment, staging carts, and maintaining the bag room and driving range areas.

The role requires hospitality, reliable conduct, and strong verbal communication to ensure a welcoming experience for all members and guests. A valid, unrestricted driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf, retail, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Must be hospitable, well-groomed, dependable, and responsible.
• Good verbal communication to provide welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests at bag drop warmly.
• Assist members and guests at all times.
• Keep bag room and cart areas clean at all times.
• Prepare golf carts for use and stock supplies.
• Report cart problems to mechanics and staff promptly.
• Ensure driving range is stocked with balls and neatly set up.
• Maintain driving range and equipment.
• Complete tasks in outside operations supporting the golf program.

SUMMARY: Wintergreen Resort Golf Guest Service Attendants are responsible for attending to guests of our golf facilities from arrival through departure and for providing personal attention and overall exemplary service. Duties may include handling of guest’s golf equipment and belongings, golf cart staging, care and upkeep; practice ball distribution, collection, and cleaning.PRIMARY REPONSIBILITIES:Greet members and guests at bag drop warmlyBe available to assist members and guests at all timesEnsure bag room and cart areas remain clean at all timesClean and prepare golf carts for use (i.e. stock towels, tees, pencils, scorecards, etc.)Report any cart problems to mechanics and Professional Staff in a timely mannerEnsure driving range is neatly set-up and stocked with range ballsMaintain driving range and equipmentComplete tasks in every phase of outside operations contributing to the success of the Wintergreen Golf ProgramMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Have previous golf industry, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience (preferred)Be hospitality and customer service oriented, well-groomed, dependable, and responsibleHave good verbal communication skills to provide a welcoming environment and quality experience for all members and guests.LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT(S):Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit/stand/walk for lengthy periods of time.The employee is regularly required to lift/move up to 20 lbs. unassistedBENEFITS OF WORKING AT WINTERGREEN:Wintergreen Resort is a place for mountain lovers, adventure seekers and outdoor explorers.
