Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Fixed Maintenance General Supervisor for the Goldstrike operations. You will lead the safe execution of maintenance on fixed equipment and oversee related projects, coordinating with the Maintenance Superintendent to meet mine objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprints knowledge, and top-tier communication skills to guide teams and ensure regulatory compliance while driving cost-effective maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of verifiable maintenance experience required.
• Five (5) years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Experience in a planned maintenance environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics required.
• Professional communication skills with various levels of employees both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent leadership skills and knowledge of influencing others.
• Proficient with basic computer software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Commitment to developing and maintaining a safe work culture.
• Able to drive manual transmission mine tractor and other company vehicles.

Responsibilities

As part of the Underground Maintenance team, the successful candidate will ensure that all maintenance service activities operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect the employees and assets of the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe execution of maintenance activities for various types of fixed equipment
• Lead the safe execution of maintenance related projects
• Support the objectives of mine maintenance with the Maintenance Superintendent
• Support other departments with maintenance interactions that will have an impact on the overall mine plan
• Support the maintenance department with project budgeting and planning
• Supervise the maintenance supervisors and planning their career development
• Ensure that all maintenance service activities operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect the employees and assets of the company
• Participate in maintenance planning processes
• Work with project departments outside of GSUG to improve the project handoff between the maintenance a capital projects teams
• Ensure departmental condition monitoring and reliability objectives are met
• Ensure contractors operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect the employees and assets of the company
• Administer company policies and procedures
• Support operational objectives by minimizing risks and maximizing value. focusing on cost management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
