Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) is seeking a Fixed Maintenance Supervisor for Shaft and Hoist Maintenance at the Turquoise Ridge operations. You will supervise and coach fixed maintenance teams to meet production targets and schedules, with a focus on shaft systems and safety.

Our team emphasizes safe operations and collaboration across departments. The role requires extensive underground shaft maintenance experience and a proven track record of leading teams in a mining environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in maintenance of stationary or dewatering equipment with emphasis on vertical shafts.
• 5–7 years supervisory experience in a mining environment preferred.
• Underground shaft experience required.
• Proven safe work record required.
• Strong communication skills—oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and lead fixed maintenance teams to meet production and development targets and budgets.
• Direct supervision and support of shaft and surface maintenance technicians.
• Plan and lead shaft maintenance work in consultation with production teams.

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Fixed Maintenance Supervisor for Shaft and Hoist Maintenance at our Turquoise Ridge operations. The Fixed Maintenance/Shaft and Hoist Supervisor will supervise, coach and lead fixed maintenance teams to ensure the production and development targets and schedules are met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and lead fixed maintenance teams to ensure the production and development targets and schedules are met to ensure profitability and business development in accordance with the annual budget and strategic business plan


• Perform other duties as assigned


• Direct supervision and support of a crew consisting of shaft and surface maintenance technicians.


• Ensure shaft documentation is completed accurately


• Plan and lead all shaft maintenance work, in consultation with the production teams.


• Experience working in a mine shaft maintenance function preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in maintenance of stationary equipment and/or dewatering equipment with emphasis on vertical shafts in a planned work environment required


• Five (5) to seven (7) years of supervisory experience in a mining environment preferred


• Underground shaft experience required


• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead others required


• Proven safe work record required


• Ability to work effectively within a team environment required


• Strong communication skills—oral and written required
