The candidate should have 15+ years in mineral processing with gold focus, lead multidisciplinary teams, and oversee deliverables like PFDs and P&IDs while coordinating with clients and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's or Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in mineral processing with a focus on gold.
- Experience leading process activities for studies and projects.
- Familiar with PFDs, P&IDs, PDC, and trade-off studies.
Responsibilities
- Act as Process Lead for gold processing studies and projects.
- Develop, review, and optimize gold processing flowsheets (crushing/grinding, leaching, adsorption, and refining).
- Lead study design activities (PFS, FS) incl. design criteria and simulations.
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers; interface with project teams and clients.
- Review metallurgical testwork and integrate results into process design.
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and debottlenecking at sites.
