The role emphasizes leadership, robust design, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration across North America with a focus on project execution and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in mining and/or heavy industrial projects.
• U.S. PE license (Nevada preferred or reciprocal).
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring staff.
• Knowledge of North American codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, AISC).

Responsibilities

• Act as Mechanical Discipline Lead on medium to large mining and industrial projects.
• Support business development activities by contributing to technical proposals and client presentations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.
• Grow and mentor the Mechanical Department, including resource planning and recruitment.
• Oversee design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports.
• Ensure interdisciplinary coordination with process, structural, electrical, civil and instrumentation teams.
