Job summary

Tenki is building the future of compute markets and seeks a Golang Engineer to join a small, high-signal team crafting core infrastructure and secure, scalable APIs. You’ll contribute to gRPC services based on ConnectRPC, and help operate a private microservices fabric with a focus on performance and reliability.

Although the role is remote, you will align with core time zones in LATAM (GMT-3) or the Philippines (GMT+8) and communicate fluently in English across our distributed team.

Qualifications

• Proficient Golang engineer with experience building high-performance concurrent apps
• Strong track record of architecting and maintaining gRPC services and robust contracts
• Familiar with identity services and OAuth2/OIDC flows; security-focused
• Understanding of overlay networking and resilient, secure microservices

Responsibilities

• Architect, maintain, and evolve core gRPC API services
• Design and operate a private programmable microservices fabric
• Manage identity services on top of the Ory stack
• Develop DDoS mitigation strategies and apply security best practices
• Build Golang gRPC services scalable to millions/users and beyond
• Define immutable infrastructure and automated tear-down/recovery workflows
• Create Engineering Requirement Documents translating ideas into actionable plans
• Collaborate with Applications and Platform teams to expose robust APIs
