Job summary

Altinity, Inc. is seeking a highly capable Golang Developer / Cloud Engineer to build and operate cloud-native services and contribute to ClickHouse-driven analytics solutions.

You will deploy container-based systems, work with remote teams, and continuously learn new technologies while optimizing Kubernetes and public cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Golang with strong software development experience.
• Experience with cloud deployments and containerized services.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and compute for cloud apps.
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate cloud-native services in Go.

• Collaborate with remote engineers across time zones.

Altinity is looking for a great Golang Developer / Cloud Engineer to work on ClickHouse, the hottest analytic database on the planet. ClickHouse now has more contributors than ElasticSearch, previously the biggest analytic project on GitHub. We're looking to hire even more. Responsibilities

• You are interested in all things cloud and understand the plumbing that makes cloud applications work
• You know how to deploy and operate public-facing, container-based services
• You work easily with remote engineers
• Flexible and eager to learn new technologies
• You have outstanding skills in site operation, including:
• Native fluency in Golang with Python is a plus
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Golang and minimum 5 years of experience in software development in general
• Proven operational skills on Kubernetes and public clouds including AWS, GCP and/or Azure
• Outstanding knowledge of networking (including DNS, load-balancers, peering), storage, and compute
