Job summary

Tenki is seeking a proficient Golang engineer to join a small, talent-dense team building the future of compute markets. The role is remote but aligned to LATAM (GMT-3) or the Philippines (GMT+8) time zones, and English communication is essential.

You’ll architect and evolve core gRPC APIs, manage identity services via Ory Kratos/Keto/Hydra, and implement scalable infrastructure with immutable patterns. Collaboration with TS and Platform teams will shape internal and future external APIs.

Qualifications

• Proficient Golang engineer with experience in high-performance, concurrent apps.
• Strong track record architecting and maintaining gRPC services with clear contracts.
• Experience with identity/auth services (Ory stack) is a plus.
• Ability to work across time zones and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect, maintain, and evolve core gRPC API services, based on ConnectRPC and a private microservices fabric.
• Manage identity services on top of the Ory stack: Kratos, Keto, and Hydra.
• Develop DDoS mitigation strategies to counter adversaries.
• Build high-performance Golang gRPC services scalable to millions of users.
• Define and implement immutable infrastructure for tear-down, failover, and reconstruction.
• Translate concepts into Engineering Requirement Documents and actionable plans.
• Collaborate with Applications (TypeScript) and Platform teams to expose robust APIs.
