As a Backend Engineer, you’ll help modernize systems, balance innovation with stability, and collaborate with teams across regions to deliver reliable services for diverse markets.

Qualifications

• Solid backend experience building reliable, high‑volume services.
• Experience with Go (Golang) and comfortable learning other languages.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, and production ownership.
• Cloud experience (AWS) with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Interest in relational databases and data consistency.
• Collaborative across regions and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve core banking services powering ledger operations and transactions.
• Tackle distributed systems challenges ensuring resilient services under high load.
• Improve observability, test coverage, and refactor code for long‑term maintainability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for a globally scalable banking solution.
• Collaborate with Risk, Treasury, Finance, and Infrastructure teams across regions.
• Own designs through production, monitor performance, and iterate.
