Job summary

Auger is hiring a Customer Engineering Lead to own the end-to-end technical launch for deployments in Bellevue, WA and Dallas, TX. You will manage data sources, access architecture, integration, write-back, testing, go/no-go, and cutover with a multidisciplinary team inside the Customer Transformation pod.

You will guide engineers, data engineers, and QA across accounts, maintain schedules, and drive resolution when plans diverge, ensuring go-live success and post-launch support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years across engineering, technical program management, or engineering management.
• Track record delivering complex technical programs for enterprise customers across multiple teams.
• Fluency in enterprise data and systems integration: APIs, ETL and streaming pipelines, cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to read production code and evaluate technical designs.
• Experience owning a hard launch date across cross-functional teams and an external customer IT organization.
• Direct, written communication with clear plans, decisions, risks, and status.
• Willingness to travel 25-50%.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical launch plan and end-to-end engineering schedule for deployments.
• Define data requirements and drive read access architecture with customer teams.
• Direct the engineering pod and unblock daily progress.
• Resolve ambiguities with Product before engineers execute.
• Oversee end-to-end testing, go/no-go, cutover, and post-launch support.
• Translate between customer IT and Auger engineering as the single technical voice.
• Force technical tradeoffs and make clear decisions to keep projects moving.
• Stay in the detail: review code, designs, and data across deployments.
• Close the loop with Product and Engineering to improve future launches.
