Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Cloud Software and Automation Engineer with deep Go and GCP expertise to build high-performance automation tools and cloud infrastructure. You will automate environments, design scalable microservices, and enhance observability while adhering to security standards.

The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, container orchestration in GKE/Cloud Run, and CI/CD pipelines via modern tools. Location: Mountain View, CA with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
• Strong Go (Golang) expertise and concurrency patterns.
• Hands-on experience with core GCP services and IAM, VPC, Compute options.
• Terraform configurations for modular, production-ready IaC.
• Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration skills.
• Knowledge of microservices, REST/gRPC interfaces, distributed systems.
• Google Cloud Certified DevOps Engineer or Architect is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for modules with clear linkages.
• Design application solutions aligned to business needs and standards.
• Review code, address technical queries, and ensure consistent patterns.
• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve recurring issues.
• Validate configurations and assist deployment and integration.
• Prepare user training materials to ease adoption and minimize risk.
• Collaborate across teams to optimize cloud services and tooling.
