Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX seeks a GNC Engineer to design, develop, verify and test guidance, navigation and control algorithms across flight phases and orbital insertions.

You will support integration and testing of missile algorithms, perform performance analyses, and assist with trade studies, model verification and validation against flight data. Onsite 4/10 work schedule with active Secret clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or similar field of study.
• Proficient in C++, MATLAB, Python and/or Fortran.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Experienced with Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis.
• Ability to receive and maintain an active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, implements, verifies and tests GN&C algorithms for flight and orbital phases.
• Support integration, verification and testing of missile algorithms.
• Contribute to performance analysis, error budgets, and trade studies.
• Preflight and post-flight simulation runs and validation against data.
• Work onsite full-time at Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control in Grand Prairie, TX with a 4/10 schedule.
