Job summary
Northrop Grumman in Plymouth, MA seeks an experienced GNC Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for a range of air, space, and defense platforms. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering or a closely related field with relevant experience.
- Master’s degree in engineering or related field with relevant experience.
- PhD in engineering or related field with relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, implements, verifies and tests GNC algorithms and software for multiple platforms.
- Performs Navigation, Guidance and Control function development and simulation.
- Defines requirements and validates hardware and software for flight systems including launch vehicles and spacecraft.
- Assesses test results and reconciles performance data.
