Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Orlando is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Engineer to design, develop, verify and test missile and space system simulations, including 6-DOF models and sensor environments.

The role requires at least 3+ years in STEM, interim DoD clearance and US citizenship. Proficiency in C++ and MATLAB (or Python) is essential. You will work onsite in a classified lab and collaborate with software and systems engineers.

Qualifications

Post secondary STEM degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
US Citizenship and Interim DoD Clearance required to start.
Willing to work onsite in a classified area or lab environment.
Experience in digital simulation development for infrared sensor systems.
Advanced proficiency in C++ and MATLAB (or Python).

Responsibilities

Design and documentation of model and simulation requirements and architecture.
Develop, verify, and validate complex models and simulations (e.g., 6-DOF missile sims).
Evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and verify requirements.
Perform critical studies, analyses, and test activities.
Support ground and flight test efforts including HWIL activities.
Support program reviews and technical interchange meetings with stakeholders.
