Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer in Chandler, Arizona onsite to lead seeker modeling, target tracking, and advanced GNC algorithms for missile and launch vehicle systems.

You will design, implement, verify, and test flight and simulation software; own 6-DOF simulations; mentor junior engineers; and present results to leadership. Proficiency in MATLAB, C++, Linux, and scripting tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with extensive professional experience in electrical/aerospace/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience with guidance, navigation, and control concepts for aerospace or missile systems.
• Willingness to obtain DoD Secret clearance prior to starting work.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and verification of flight and simulation software.
• Own 6-DOF simulations for development and validation of flight algorithms.
• Mentor junior engineers and present results to program leadership.
