Job summary

Mavensoft Technologies, LLC in Chandler, AZ seeks a Guidance Navigation Control Engineer III for seeker-based missile engagements. You will lead the development and evaluation of GNC systems, own key algorithm design, and drive six DOF simulations to assess performance and reliability.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across teams, and define metrics for mission success, integrating hardware and software components for rigorous performance assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 8+ years of professional experience; Master’s with 6+; PhD with 4+ in electrical, aerospace, mechanical or related fields.
• Active US Government security clearance at the Secret level.
• Experience with guidance, navigation, and control concepts for aerospace or missile systems.
• Proven involvement in modeling, simulation, testing, integration, or analysis for aerospace/missile/autonomous systems.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C/C++, or similar tools in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, implementation, verification, and test of flight and simulation software; maintain 6 DOF simulations for algorithm development and validation.
• Define performance metrics, conduct trajectory optimization and evaluation studies, and present results to program leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide technical direction on seeker and tracking approaches, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure system reliability and mission success through rigorous analysis campaigns and trade studies.
