Job summary

Oho Group partners with an aerospace company to hire a Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer responsible for developing navigation, guidance, and vehicle control algorithms. You will work closely with a seasoned engineering team from concept through testing.

You will build simulations, design state estimation, and integrate software into embedded platforms, contributing to reliable, high-performance autonomous systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in GNC, controls, autonomy, robotics or aerospace.
• Strong understanding of control theory, estimation techniques, and dynamic system modelling.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and C/C++.
• Experience taking algorithms from simulation to deployment on physical systems.
• Experience owning a project or subsystem with end-to-end responsibility.

We're partnered with an aerospace company building autonomous systems for mission critical applications. They're looking for a Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer to develop the algorithms that drive navigation, guidance, and vehicle control, working closely with a highly experienced engineering team from concept through testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for autonomous aerospace systems.
• Build simulation environments and system models to evaluate and validate performance.
• Design state estimation, sensor fusion, and control solutions.
• Integrate software into embedded platforms and hardware test environments.
• Work alongside software, avionics, and systems engineers to deliver reliable, high performance solutions.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in GNC, controls, autonomy, robotics, aerospace, or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of control theory, estimation techniques, and dynamic system modelling.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and C/C++.
• Experience taking algorithms from simulation through to deployment on physical systems.
• Experience owning a project or subsystem, with direct responsibility for the design, implementation, software development, testing, and qualification or deployment.
• BS or MS in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• On-site position.
• Ability to obtain or maintain the required security clearance.
