Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. is seeking a GNC Controls Engineer to join its engineering team in Dallas for on-site work. You will tackle controls and localization challenges, develop simulations, and validate solutions on unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs).

The role requires advanced degrees and 4-7 years of experience, with strong Python/C/C++ and ROS skills, plus collaboration with a team on complex control systems.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Controls and Localization.
• 4-7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in StateSpace Control, Localization, and State-of-the-Art Controllers.
• Experience designing controls and localization algorithms with documentation skills.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, and ROS.

Responsibilities

• Solve challenging controls and localization problems using state-of-the-art techniques.
• Develop simulations to validate and optimize controls designs.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement and validate controls on unmanned ground vehicles.
• Design, develop, and supervise electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Document designs, analysis, and test results in detailed reports.
