Ginger Cove in Annapolis, MD is hiring Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA) for the Day shift on a part-time basis. The role pays $20.00–$22.50 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for part-time staff. You’ll join a premier retirement community known for its supportive team and excellent resident care.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, vital signs, mobility, meals, and documentation. Active Maryland GNA certification and CPR/First Aid are preferred; weekend coverage available.

Qualifications

• Active GNA certification in Maryland is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Compassion for working with older adults is important.
• Basic computer skills for documentation are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Take vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and respond to call lights promptly.
• Document care accurately and communicate with the nursing team.
