Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a dedicated CNA-1 to join our frontline health care team serving residents at our facilities. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, respond to calls for assistance, and help maintain a safe, clean, and compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA-1 certification in Maryland
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to remain calm and patient when dealing with residents
• Ability to listen attentively is essential
• Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure
• A willingness to navigate changes in assignments
• Ability to show empathy and compassion while interacting with residents to increase their comfort level
