Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a CNA-1 to join our frontline health care team and provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents in Maryland. The role requires a current Maryland CNA-1 certification and a patient, professional attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, document promptly, and help keep residents engaged and safe in a clean environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Maryland CNA-1 certification.
• Positive, professional attitude; strong teamwork.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility is a plus.
• Effective communication and calm, patient demeanor.
• Willingness to adapt to shift changes and resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, oral care, and basic needs.
• Record vital signs at shift start and as directed.
• Respond to calls for assistance and monitor changes in residents’ condition.
• Complete required documentation promptly.
• Assist with transporting residents as needed.
• Provide companionship to residents.
• Ensure resident safety at all times.
• Encourage activity and engagement to keep residents active.
• Maintain a clean, healthy environment.

Competitive Salary Range $20-$23/hr

Salary range includes evening shift differential!

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with completion of resident activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, oral care, and other basic needs
• Perform vital signs on residents at beginning of each shift and as directed
• Answer calls for assistance and observe changes in resident’s behavior, emotional state, or physical condition
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner
• Assist in transporting residents as needed
• Provide companionship to residents
• Ensure the safety of our residents
• Assist with motivating residents to help keep them active and engaged
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA-1 certificationin Maryland
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude

• Previous experience working in an skilled nursing facility is a plus
