Job summary

FutureCare in Maryland is seeking a dedicated CNA-1 to join our frontline care team, assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring safety. The role emphasizes compassionate care, effective communication, and teamwork in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with completion of resident activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, oral care, and other basic needs
• Perform vital signs on residents at beginning of each shift and as directed
• Answer calls for assistance and observe changes in resident’s behavior, emotional state, or physical condition
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner
• Assist in transporting residents as needed
• Provide companionship to residents
• Ensure the safety of our residents
• Assist with motivating residents to help keep them active and engaged
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Qualifications
