Job summary

Draper is hiring a Group Leader for the Production Design, Verification & Validation Group in Space Force Station, Florida. You will lead a team of engineers focused on GN&C system technologies, testing, verification, and validation to ensure robust and reliable performance for mission-critical platforms.

You will collaborate with Draper Program Offices, customers, and other engineering groups to develop strategic roadmaps, drive research proposals, and enable career growth through mentorship

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, design, development, and management of complex systems.
• Active US Government Security Clearance preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a group of approximately 10-15 engineers.
• Mentor team members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Write and manage staffing, hiring, and resourcing.
• Shape Draper’s technology offerings and align with customer priorities.
• Coordinate with program offices, customers, and other groups.
