Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a spacecraft GN&C hardware engineer in Colorado to develop navigation hardware requirements and perform system-level analyses for GN&C subsystems. You will collaborate across engineering teams to ensure proper installation, alignment, and verification throughout the program lifecycle.

The role emphasizes design coordination, test execution, and clear technical communication, with duties spanning from requirements to on-vehicle testing.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in engineering or related field.
• Preference for Mechanical, Aerospace and/or Electrical engineering.
• Valid experience with GN&C hardware and navigation sensors.
• Experience with integration and test support.

Responsibilities

• Develop GN&C hardware requirements from system level specifications and verify methods.
• Support GN&C hardware design studies and sensor performance trades.
• Coordinate procurement, vendor involvement, delivery, and verification of navigation hardware.
• Guide testing and analyses (flight tests, thermal/vacuum, vibration) to validate performance and sensor specs.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop testing and on-vehicle testing.
