Job summary

Merck in Rahway, NJ is hiring a Warehouse and Distribution Technician to support GMP-compliant packaging and warehouse tasks. You will learn and perform tasks under guidance, with a focus on safety, documentation, and quality.

Role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working a 1st shift on-site, and occasional overtime. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement plans. 1+ year of relevant industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrate competency and in-depth knowledge of GMP processes.
• Willing to operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cGMP and safety training to site requirements.
• Follow cGMP, SOPs and safety requirements in all activities.
• Report potential quality events and non-conformances to GMPs/SOPs.
• Ensure paperwork is properly executed using GDP.
• Perform inbound receipt, sample management, and inventory tasks.
• Coordinate and execute discard processes for expired/unavailable inventory.
• Manage shipping activities, freight and logistics.
• Interact with employees within and across groups.
