Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a Warehouse and Distribution Technician in New Jersey to perform GMP-compliant warehouse duties and packaging-related tasks.

You will work as part of a team under supervision, handling incoming materials, inventory, and shipping activities while maintaining GDP and GMP documentation. The role requires 1+ year of experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a willingness to learn packaging operations in a compliant, safe environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Demonstrate competency in GMP processes and GDP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cGMP and safety training to site requirements.
• Follow cGMP, SOPs and safety requirements in all activities.
• Report potential quality events and non-conformances to GMPs/SOPs when observed.
• Ensure all paperwork is properly executed using GDP/GMP guidelines.
• Occasional overtime and weekend work may be requested.
• Interact with employees within own department and with other groups.
