Job summary

Grifols is seeking an Engineer III in Emeryville, CA, to support engineering projects across mechanical, electrical, chemical, facilities, and process disciplines within a manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes solving complex problems, implementing improvements, and ensuring FDA GMP compliance.

Minimum 4 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in engineering are required, with biotech/chemical industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Professional certification/license as appropriate.
• At least 4 years of engineering experience; biotech or chemical industry preferred.
• Experience with FDA GMP regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering guidance in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Facilities, or Process within manufacturing.
• Make decisions on assignments that influence department goals.
• Develop solutions to complex problems and implement improvements.
• Provide project support for new or upgraded facilities, systems and equipment.
• Ensure facilities compliance with FDA GMP regulations and maintain safety.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory and other functions.
• Train entry-level staff as needed.
