Job summary

Abbott in Irving, TX seeks a Trainer (1st Shift) to support onboarding and ongoing training in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will deliver orientation, maintain training records, and facilitate learning events.

Responsibilities include coordinating RFTs, coaching employees, and analyzing training metrics to drive continuous improvement. Requires 2+ years in training or related field and proficiency with MS Office; GMP exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in training, L&D, or related manufacturing/quality fields.
• Experience facilitating classroom, virtual, or hands-on training.
• Experience maintaining training records in regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate Training Requests (RFTs) as needed.
• Deliver orientation and onboarding for new hires and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with training procedures and documentation.
• Maintain training records and change control activities.
• Facilitate group verifications and other learning events.
• Coordinate new Learning Units with Process Owners and LMS developers.
• Coach employees through training programs and objectives.
• Conduct instructor-led sessions and training on tools and systems.
• Track and analyze training metrics for continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with employees and leadership
