Job summary

Croda Alabaster is seeking a Site Engineering Manager to build and lead the engineering function for Pharma Solutions, driving maintenance excellence, asset reliability, and capital delivery at the Alabaster site.

The role requires hands‑on leadership to establish sustainable systems, deliver major capital projects, and enhance operational improvement while aligning with GMP requirements and site growth plans.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of engineering or operations leadership experience within pharma/regulated manufacturing.
• Proven success leading maintenance and reliability organizations and delivering major capital programs.
• Experience replacing or upgrading assets in a GMP environment, including assessment of product, regulatory, and customer impact.
• Strong capital‑project governance, prioritization, and business‑case development experience.
• Deep understanding of GMP operations, asset reliability, manufacturing readiness, operational excellence, and capacity planning.
• Bachelor's degree in chemical, process, mechanical, or related engineering discipline; an advanced technical qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and reliability at the Alabaster site.
• Deliver major capital programs, including programs exceeding $40 million.
• Improve asset performance, OEE, and manufacturing economics.
• Strengthen process control, governance, and technical writing.
• Build scalable capital delivery processes and site engineering standards.
